Isn't this incredible? How easily mis-led we humans are! (by the Dem's! (Don't believe them when they begin their tax talk - it's not true!)
The Dem's, Billary & Osama Obama, et al keep insisting that the Bush tax cuts only benefit the rich! HA!
And they insist they are going to allow the Bush Tax cuts to expire in 2010 and not only that, they promise to further raise the tax rates and brackets even more then the old Klinton rates/brackets on the rich (which seems to be anyone making the average national wage of $56,000!)
Vote Democrat if you want - but with this email- you are forewarned. (If you are intelligent enough to look up your 2008 tax bracket and compare it to the Klinton's last year tax brackets of 2000. The Bush Tax cuts kicked in - in 2001 and further reduced in 2003, with brackets that have been adjusted for inflation each year under these cuts, further saving tax payers money by not jumping to new brackets as inflation devalues your money.
McCain, incidentally, also bought into the Dem's propaganda that claimed the Bush Tax Cuts only benefited the rich- and voted against the 2001/2003 tax cuts!!!! Hard to believe or understand! But at least he is saying now, (someone must have shown him these charts!) that if elected president, he will fight to keep the Bush Tax cuts and extend them.
I'd rather vote for McCain, even if he can't succeed in extending the Bush Tax cuts, (which he probably won't, with a heavily Democrat controlled Congress) but at least he now sez he will try! We'll see!
Billary/Obama are even bragging/promising about how they will allow the Bush Tax cuts ("that only benefit the Rich") to expire and even raise them more! - on the "Rich" who are already paying 85% of the total income taxes! Go Figure!
Lets see how the Bush Tax cuts benefited the poor.
Under the Bush Tax cuts, the lowest 2008 tax bracket rate is 10% (married and earning 0 - $16,050).
If allowed to roll back to the Klinton 2000 Tax rates - the 2010 lowest tax bracket rate will be/revert back from the Bush rate to the Klinton rate of 15% (married and earning 0 - $43,850) So even the poorest among us, will see a 5% tax jump!!! Meaning, your final total income tax bill will jump up by 1/3rd! If your were paying $1000 in taxes, under the Klinton rates - it would be $1500 under the old rates!
So don't tell me the Bush tax cuts only benefited the rich!
I also know better from my own tax situation!
During the later Clinton Years - my 2000 tax bracket was -
Single - 28%!!!!! - $26,250 - $63,580.
After the Bush tax cuts in 2001 & 2003 - my total taxes percentage rate went down incrementally a couple percentage points yearly from 28% down to 25% and over the Bush years/tax cuts - the top end of the year 2008, the 25% top end bracket raised to $78,850!!!! up from the Klinton top rate of $63,580 where you would jump up to 31% tax rate. That's a 6% jump if we went back to the old Klinton/pre-Bush tax cut rates!
2008 - Single - 25% - $32,450 - $78,850 -
After the 2001 Bush Tax cut, my taxes went down about $3500 that first year, and ended up being about $2-2500 lower in 2003, although each year during the 2000-2008 years, I creped up about $1000 - $1500 in total income per year, but because the bracket top limit increased accordingly, I stayed in the 25% bracket instead of jumping back up to the next bracket, as I would have under the Klinton Tax rates - So bottom line- I have continued to pay about the same total taxes per year - or in real terms, I would have paid about $2000 more in taxes a year since 2001, in other words, I would have paid at least $17,500 more in taxes if it had not been for the Bush Tax cuts 2001 to present!
And as you can see by the above tax brackets, I am a long ways from being rich! In fact, I heard just the other day, that nation wide - the average household income is $56K, which is a bit more then I make in taxable income - so I know that the Bush tax cuts benefit the average household's by at least $2000 a year. Maybe more, depending on how many deductions you have. Could be up to $6000 a year in the average tax bracket - $32,450 - $78,850.
Ignore the Billary/Obama promises at your own peril!
If the Dem's allow the Bush Tax cuts to expire in 2010, allowing the percentages and the top brackets to roll back to the Klinton rates, (my simple personal example above) I would go back to at least the 28% bracket - and pay $3-4, 000 more - total - $14,000 per year in total taxes. I maybe even max out in that bracket and go to the next higher bracket, which I think is 31% and pay up to $6,000 more a year for a total tax bill of $16,000! The would jump my taxes by the increased percentages - from the present 25% to either 28% or 31%, and would put me in higher brackets - cuz the Klinton tax bracket jumps were based on much lower top end figures-
See this link and check out your own situation/brackets/percentage rates - for yourownself, if you don't believe me.

If you want to know just how effective the mainstream media is, it is amazing how many people that fall into the categories above think Bush is screwing them and Bill Clinton was the greatest President ever. If any democrat is elected, ALL of them say they will repeal the Bush tax cuts and a good portion of the people that fall into the categories above can't wait for it to happen. This is like the movie The Sting with Paul Newman; you scam somebody out of some money and they don't even know what happened.
Vote Democrat at your own peril - be careful what you wish for! You might get it!

Methinks, what B. Hussein O. & Billary want to do is bring back the good ole days of Carter in a very bad way!
You definitely can't say Bush doesn't know how to cut taxes. The problem is that he never learned how to cut spending! He spends federal funds like a drunken Democrat - I guess that would imply Kennedy.
It's always about ME with you liberatrians. Isn't it? Where are you dopes going to grow up?
Yes, etspoon, It is all about YOU.
gk who writes for me is not a Librarytarian. He has clobbered my librarytarian viewpoints on multiple occasions when I have chosen to debate him. gk has been involved in foreign policy longer than I have been alive,(my kids consider me an old fart.)
I once accused gk of being Lincoln's intel officer when Lee and Grant together were hunting down the (you decide) prophet/terrorist John Brown...
Occasionally I get comments from friends when some nice gentleman calling himself GK over on the local papers online comments make ubsurd statements that "the real" gk would never make. gk who writes for me usually does not get involved with the mundane level of local politics that some of the rest of us do.
If the other nice fellow's initials happen to be the same as my gk's initials who has been given those initials long ago enough by his parents to have the possibility of becoming the oldest living Korean War vet, that's not my problem.
Bear in mind, folks who may stumble upon this blog, there are no collectivists that write on my blog. That other nice gentleman (who happens to have similar initials to gk who has seniority with those same initials) and his viewpoints are not much interest to any of us here.
Is that any way for a lady too talk?
I would sure hate to think that a guy is propositioning me like that...
Hmmm... so if you could legislate a tyranny of a majority into existence, this is the second thing you would do with me, and those like me?
That is why I still prefer a republic over a tyrannical democracy.
"Democracy is two wolves and a lamb voting on what to eat for lunch.
Liberty is a well armed lamb contesting the vote." - Ben Franklin
I whole heartedly contest your vote, anonymous. But respect your free speech. But I might want to trademark my new name. It has a great alliteration!
The point of the whole piece written by the real gk is about what happens if the Bush Tax cuts sunset.
Billobama (short for whoever we face) have both said that will make sure that the Bush Tax Cuts sunset. They both said that they will raise taxes.
I think that the way the author uses himself as an example of how this affects the average American is good.
Bisides raising taxes on the people and corporations who make the economy turn and effectively stopping hiring and freezing wages, Both Democrats will raise taxes on the poor and middle class, too.
When I read the article at Northwest Citizen, I had no Idea what this article was really about.
So what if the author here uses the same name for Obama that Drunken Master Kennedy used for him.
This must be why the other guy on that other website was whining so much and didn't offer a link to this site. He didn't want you to see the substance, just wanted to defame this site.
I stumbled here because of the www.eyeonwhatcom.com forum.
That is a great site and every whatcom county conservative should go there.
I think that site is going to be the best forum for conservative thought.
Sorry Mr. Parkenfarker, I like your site, and I think your authors are great, but Eye on Whatcom is the Bomb!
The amount of disinformation that floats around the conservative media and blogosphere is mind boggling.
Both Obama and Clinton have said repeatedly that they will only raise the income tax rates to pre-Bush levels on those making more than $200,000 a year. On top of that they have both vowed to lower taxes on those making less than $50,000 a year.

You seem to have a lot of misspellings here. It's spelled Hillary, not Billary. Also, it's Barack Obama, not Osama Obama. I don't see how you can feel good about comparing these people to terrorists.
